This is your new blog post. Click here and start typing, or drag in elements from the top bar.
After taking the ureaplasma test and having the prescription in your hand usually the medication prescribed are doxycycline 100mg, 1 pill taken by mouth twice a day for 14 days, or erythromycin 400mg, and 2 pills, taken by mouth four times a day for 7 days. But note: do not self medicate! The dosage and prescription is based on the severity of the condition and prescribed after reading and studying the patient’s medical history. Always consult an expert about any condition to ensure that the right medication is prescribed.

If you are infected there is an 80% chance your partner also is too. Make sure that both of you get tested and both get prescribed the medication to get cured and to stop the infection. And after the course of the treatment you both should get tested again, these tests are available at your local hospital, your doctor’s office (if they are equipped for it) or at a lab. At the time of testing it is either they take a specimen like a urine sample or take a swab from the vagina and have it recultured to determine if the ureaplasma bacteria is completely eliminated from both partners. If there still are signs of the bacteria you may need another round of antibiotics to get the infection treated again.

It is recommended that sexually active males and females with their partners take the Ureaplasma test because if left untreated serious complications may arise like to infertility, miscarriages, still birth, premature births, and for the babies infected meningitis and pneumonia which may lead to death of the mother (for women). For men it can cause chorioamnionitis (inflammation and redness of genitals), epididymitis (testicular inflammation) and sterility.

Just like any other infection or disease you are prescribed with medication, time and dosage. But many patients do not take their medications as prescribed; do not continue the medication until they are cured; being in close contact with infected persons or having sexual intercourse that leads to reinfection and doing the treatment all over again.

It is important to note how the illness is transmitted or acquired. There are all kinds of ways to get Ureaplasma the most common of all is sexual intercourse. However being positive with Ureaplasma does not mean that there is infidelity in the relationship (as other ideas may impose). There is no way to know for sure how or when the organism was actually transmitted to the first partner. What is known for sure is that both of the partners should get treated to help prevent any possible spread and development of complications like Urethritis .

There are many ways on how to treat ureaplasma, but this usually involves of certain antibiotics like tetracycline or erythromycin. Do not fail to inform your doctor or healthcare provider if you are allergic to this to prevent further complications. Abstain from sexual interaction while on the treatment to prevent reinfection but if this cannot be avoided practice safe sex, use latex condoms to lower the chances or getting the bacteria before the end of the treatment. Take the antibiotic as prescribe and finish it to the full length as directed by the expert. This is very important to ensure that the organism has been eliminated and for you to be cured.

Ureaplasma Urealyticum Infections Part 1: 12/06/2011

Ureaplasma are among the smallest free-living bacteria. Uniquely to ureaplasma bacteria, they lack a cell wall and they are like parasites that live within existing cells within the body. But they can also survive on cultures outside of cells similar to how viruses do. Unlike viruses, there are not resilient to antibiotics.

This complication or disease is called a “silent” disease. The symptoms of this disease are so mild that people just think that it is just ordinary to be experiencing it. The milder symptoms are whitish or cloudy discharge from the vagina or penis, urinating frequently, itching and irritation of the genitalia. But in some cases there are reports that with the bacteria infection you can also experience burning or painful sensation while urinating and bleeding during sexual intercourse. These symptoms can be both experienced by men and women.

For Diagnosis there is a special laboratory test and cultures (this is a method of multiplying the bacteria for better identification). ureaplasma treatment is fairly difficult due to the following reasons: 1st: These organisms require special tests and even if these test are conducted, isolating the organisms could pose as a big obstacle and could hinder a patient on getting treated immediately. The results for these types or tests would take 2 to 10 days. 2nd: The test done is much more meticulous and you will need to find a specialty clinic that does this type of tests. 3rd: Few antibiotics will work on the condition and the treatment (dosage) could last for days up to weeks or even longer depending on the severity of the condition.

The sure way to health 10/28/2011

What is the surest way to maintaining a healthy body? Being conscious of how our body functions is an important element in keeping it free from harm. In most cases, people disregard the needs of their bodies. They treat it as something as strong as a non-living organism. But it is a wrong attitude to have. Our bodies may be stronger than most animals, but it is nonetheless susceptible to different harmful elements. Health awareness is therefore essential. It is a a convenient transition to discussing the importance of treating something like the ureaplasma bacteria. The dominant scientific discourse about the said bacteria is that one should not be too bothered by its presence in the body of most sexually active individuals. That should not be case and that should not lead one to disregard that fact that he/she may have in his/her body this potentially harmful bacteria. Clinical studies and results show that this bacteria may cause
Urethritis among men. This is something serious if left untreated. That is why before the bacteria even causes something serious to our body, it is important for us to get a ureaplasma test to make sure if the bacteria is thriving in our bodies. After knowing the results of the test, it is then equally important to know how one get treatment should the person prove positive with the bacteria presence. The online is the ideal way to get tested and treated for the ureaplasma bacteria. That level of convenience makes it all the more easy for use to ensure that we have the best when it comes to our health.

Easy testing and treatment 10/28/2011

If you are unsure if you are infected by the bacterium ureaplasma, then it is prudent to get a ureaplasma test online. The reason why it is so is because having a ureaplasma bacteria in the body, while may harmless at first, can be quite harmful later on. A lot of case have been documented wherein a patient with ureaplasma has developed serious illnesses like urethritis and even miscarriages. This only shows that one should not undersextimate the possible consequences of having the bacteria in the body. One should not be fooled by claims of complacency with regard to the effects of having the bacterium in the body. Again, being careful and quite particular with one’s well-being cannot be too excessive. It is only important the one takes care of his/her health given that life is precious and we only can one shot at it. Therefore, having a ureaplasma, although considered to be quite harmless, is not guarantee that it will not develop into something serious. Getting a ureaplasma treatment with the assistance of an online clinic would be the best way to go. This is not to cause panic but to raise awareness on the important of taking care of our health. Even a small would, if left uncared for, may end up being so infected that it can cause something serious to our health. The same goes for ureaplasma bacteria, it may be small and harmless on the surface level, but it is left uncared for, it has the potential to gravely affect one’s health.

Getting treated before it is too late 10/28/2011

It is often said in medical journals and researches that the ureaplasma bacteria is harmless to the body. However, the medical community is a heterogeneous body and science is non-permanent given the rapid developments and discoveries happening with the field. What does this mean? It only means that scientific truths also change depending on the developments and discoveries in science. One such truth concerns the ureaplasma bacteria. If before it is considered harmless, recent scientific studies argue that it is no longer the case. The medical community, the study argues, can no longer treat the ureaplasma bacteria with the same level of indifference (for want of a better term) like it used to before. As the study shows, the presence of the ureaplasma can affect not only the woman’s health during pregnancy but also the health of the baby. In many cases of pregnancies wherein the child ends up having brain injuries like cerebral palsy, the contributing factor for such occurrence was the untreated ureaplasma in the woman’s body. This therefore makes it urgent for one to treat him/herself from possible ureaplasma infection. And given the fact that majority of sexually active individuals have the bacteria in their bodies, it only follows that these individuals have to be tested for the bacterium. It is easy and convenient in reality. With the presence of online clinics which offer quality service, ureaplasma test is easy to do. With just a click of a button, the test kit will be delivered to one’s doorstep and the results can be known after four days. It will take longer that other tests because the bacterium has a complicated structure.

Ensuring a better relationship and life in general 10/28/2011

Being a family counsel, I have experienced a few cases of marriages ending badly because of failed pregnancies. In one recent case I have handled, the reason was compelling for the marriage to end. Although as a counsel, it would appear that my responsibility was to keep the marriage alive. However, my real job was actually to ensure that a quality marriage would exist. If the problem was so serious, then it can be a ground for the end of the marriage. What was the reason for the recent end of the marriage I was supposed to protect? It was a sexually transmitted disease known as ureaplasma bacteria. Based on a few research I have done, the bacteria is loosely considered an STD although it is not usually categorized in that term. Anyway, the couple’s problem was the the husband developed Urethritis and the woman as well developed pregnancy issues because of it. Since the bacteria was belatedly discovered, the pregnancy of the wife ended bad. The child had brain abnormalities and the wife blamed it on her husband who originally had the bacteria. The moral of the case was that having problems with one’s health may not only result to physical problems. It can also affect one’s relationship with one’s love ones. In the case shared above, it involved the end of the marriage of supposedly two loving people who were expecting to start a family. Those who are showing symptoms of the bacteria, or those who even have a slightest doubt that they may be infected, it is important to get treatment before the situation complicates. One can check a reliable online clinic to know more about how to treat ureaplasma.

The link between the ureaplasma bacteria and pregnancy problems 10/28/2011

Having been a gynecologist for 15 years, it has been my experience that pregnant women are the most careful and conscious about their health. It is understandable and definitely advisable for one to be very health-conscious during pregnancy. After all, the problems hounding a pregnant women are multifold that she must indeed be at her strongest – physically and emotionally – to be able to have a successful pregnancy and childbirth. In recent medical studies, it has been discovered that the presence of theureaplasma bacteria can cause chorioamnionitis or prolonged labor during childbirth. This is alarming for it has been generally considered that the ureaplasma bacteria does not pose any threat to most humans. However, the study of the medical community itself negates the earlier claim about the ureaplasma bacteria. It now appears that especially for pregnant women the presence of the bacteria can affect their pregnancy. The possible consequences of experiencing prolonged labor during childbirth are cerebral palsy and Periventricular leukomalacia, also a brain injury. For something easily treatable and curable like ureaplasma bacteria, it is inadmissible for women not to undergo the testing and treatment for the said bacteria. As medical studies show, the consequences of having the bacteria in one’s body can be very serious not only for the mother but also for the child. ureaplasma treatment can be done online with the expertise of a trusted online clinic. The results will be available not later than four days. The time of the result’s release is longer than other STDs because of the complexity of the bacterium.

Ureaplasma Bacteria Infections on Men 09/04/2011

There are too many medical literatures about ureaplasma infection on women. Contributors of medical journals, in helping to convince politicians to spend money on Ureaplasma Tests, argue that ureaplasma infections damage unborn children and  traumatize mothers.  Worse, women rights groups label the infections as exclusive female maladies and the notion of  equality demands that the state should spend money on the tests and Ureaplasma treatment of women. However, these people  failed to realize that ureaplasma bacterial infection is a sexually transmitted disease, such that both sexes are infected or could be infected. In fact, there are new studies showing that men are also suffering from the infection. Urethritis or inflammation of the urethra can be caused by ureaplasma bacteria. The condition is characterized by painful urination, purulent discharges, itchiness, and other annoying symptoms. In extreme cases, stone formation of the kidneys and blockages due to massive irritation can cause  extreme pain among men.  Moreover, it was also found out that the infection can cause sterility. As you can see, Ureaplasma infections are not exclusive maladies of women. Men and women should get tested to determine the presence of the bacteria.  Luckily, we have sticlinic.com, a good website  to get tested. Without going to the laboratory or setting up an appointment with a doctor, he can simply fill up the questionnaire presented in the website. The laboratory will then send specimen vials for the men to fill up with their urines. He should then send it back to the laboratory via mail. In less than 24 hours, he will get the result. Aside from that, the laboratory will enclose a slip informing the patient about the right antibiotics or combination of antibiotics to help him start the ureaplasma treatment. It is that  simple.

There are six recognised Ureaplasma species, They have a GC content of 27–30%, and a genome size ranging between 0.76–1.17 Mbp, and cholesterol is required for growth.

Exercising caution 07/03/2011

It has been noted in medical journals that the ureaplasma bacteria is linked to the issue of infertility. While some see this as contentious, others claim that this should instead me a reason to exercise caution until a final medical judgment can be made available. Infertility refers to the biological incapacity of a human being to conception or the forming of a child after a successful copulation. As a common problem among women, infertility also refers to the inability to fully complete the pregnancy. Medical intervention avers that while ureaplasma is still being explored to cause infertility, it is important that one remains observant with possible effects ureaplasma may have to one’s reproductive health. As such, it is advisable that one should still undergo ureaplasma test just so to establish if one has this bacteria present in the reproductive organ. The easiness of available tests has reached a whole new level that one can in fact be tested with the help of an online clinic. For me, this remains to be the most convenient and most speedy way of getting tested for ureaplasma. The results are usually reveled after 4 days. The time is for the precision in finding out if this hard-to-detect bacterium is indeed thriving in the body. And when it has already been establish that it is indeed present in the reproduction organ, then one has the option to under ureaplasma treatment. Again, getting ureaplasma treatment is part of whole cautionary measures that should be set in place just to be sure that no bacteria can mess up with one’s natural ability to ‘go forth and multiply’, as it were.
